Cleveland Cavaliers Win NBA Eastern Conference Finals Game 7

Overcoming a 14-point deficit, the Cavaliers defeated the Boston Celtics 87-79 to advance to the NBA Finals.

LeBron James led the way for Cleveland with 35 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists, while Kevin Love added 20 points and 12 rebounds.

The Cavaliers trailed by 14 points in the second quarter, but they rallied back to take a 44-43 lead at halftime. James scored 15 points in the third quarter to help Cleveland extend its lead to 71-64 going into the fourth quarter. The Celtics cut the lead to 79-77 with less than two minutes remaining, but James hit a jumper and Love made a free throw to seal the victory.

With the win, the Cavaliers advanced to the NBA Finals for the fourth consecutive year. They will face either the Golden State Warriors or the Houston Rockets in the Finals.

The Celtics' season ended with the loss. They were making their first appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals since 2012.
